A 30-minute guided look around the cathedral followed by 30 minutes to explore in small groups. We will match the tour to the theme of your visit. It may be useful to download our "Art, Science and Maths" guidance sheet for all accompanying adults.

A 45-minute guided tour looking at the impact of the Tudors on Rochester Cathedral. We find out about the dissolution of the monastery, the lime washing of the medieval wall paintings and the creation of the Church of England.

A 45-minute guided trail. Explore the growth and development of the cathedral from its Saxon beginnings to the Reformation. Discover the massive impact of the Norman invasion upon Rochester.

A 30-minute talk looking at the impact of tourism on the cathedral. We explore the place of the cathedral in the world of heritage visits and discuss our current exciting "Ancient Stones, Untold Stories" HLF-funded project aimed at improving interpretation within the cathedral. Following the talk 30 minutes to independently explore the cathedral is given.
