Some lucky winners will be entitled to a free tea / coffee in our newly opened Crypt Café. The Café will be open from 11am to 3pm. Please make your way downstairs to the Crypt. The stairs are located on the south side of the Cathedral in the Nave Transept (ask at the Welcome Desk if you are not sure where to go).
For Guided Tour ticket holders please meet your guides at the Welcome Desk (just inside the North Door of the Cathedral) ready to start your tour at 11:30. The tour should last approx. 1 hour.
If you have any issues on the day the number for our Welcome Desk is 01634 810067. This number is manned from 10am.
For those of you not lucky enough to win this year, we also have short highlight tours / talks taking place from 11:15 to 12:55. Please just turn up and join in. Our Café will also be open for non-ticket holders to buy tea / coffee and cake.

Jacob Scott and other members of the Rochester Cathedral Research Guild will be presenting new researches at the cathedral over the last year, including medieval graffiti and paintings, the results of the ground-penetrating radar survey of the cloisters, and indexing and online publication of the cathedral’s historic records and archive reports.
The presentation will start at 17.30 (entry from 17:00) and will finish around 19:00, including a half-hour walk-around tour of the graffiti. Entry is free and the event is not ticketed.
