Organ Recital

Our Assistant Sub-Organist, James Norrey, will be performing Marcel Dupré’s Le Chemin de la Croix (The Stations of the Cross) following Evensong on Passion Sunday at 16:30. Inspired by Paul Claudel’s devotional lyrics on the Stations of the Cross, Dupré, the French master of the organ, created his appealing improvisations. With powerful and empathetic drama the music carries us step by step ever closer to the cross.

Admission is free, with a retiring collection at the end.
