Café Volunteers needed

After a successful trial period pre Christmas, Rochester Cathedral is delighted to announce that its Cafe in the Crypt will formally open from Monday 12th February 2018, 11am to 3pm. Serving homemade cakes, tea and coffee, visitors will be able to enjoy taking refreshments in our stunning medieval crypt alongside the art and graffiti of centuries past worship.

We are looking for volunteers to help us extend our Benedictine welcome and hospitality in this new venture.

If you are able to help weary pilgrims stop and enjoy the Cathedral for  while, over a nice cup of tea, then please contact the volunteer manager at or ring 0163 843366.

Training will be given for food handling but most of all we are seeking volunteers with a friendly and welcoming disposition.
