Following on from the great success of the last musical pilgrimage at the Cathedral we have decided to repeat this in a similar format with one or two additions. The tour will be led by The Revd Matthew Rushton, Canon Precentor, with music sung by members of the Cathedral Choir.
Entry is via the North door and the evening will commence at 6.30pm with a welcome drink in South Transept. The tour will start in the Ithamar Chapel at 7pm prompt and conclude with a hot supper and wine in the Crypt. The tour involves some walking and the use of stairs with handrails.
Please reserve your place on this very special tour by contacting Lynne Bax on 01634 810074 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Price including supper and wine will be £47.50 a head.
Proceeds from this event will go to The Rochester Cathedral Trust’s Music Endowment which has been established to ensure that music will continue to ring out from within these walls far into the future. Our short term goal for the Endowment is £2 million and we are delighted to advise that we are more than half way there!
