The Abrams: Live Music

  • Rochester Cathedral (map)

End your Bank Holiday weekend with The Abrams

One of Canada’s biggest country and bluegrass bands return to Rochester Cathedral

The Abrams certainly know how to build a song...it’s in [their] blood, natural, to just get in front of people and play...just brilliant.
— Bob Harris, BBC Radio 2,

The fabulous Abrams brothers will be playing Rochester Cathedral on Monday 27th May.

The Abrams are one of Canada’s biggest country and bluegrass bands. They have been taking their distinct Americana/Country sound on international tours for over sixteen years. They are among the youngest performers to play the world-famous Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Their debut single, Fine, charted in the Top 40 on US Country Radio. Their incredible and energetic live performances feature new original songs produced by Grammy Award nominated producer, Gavin Brown.

Rochester Cathedral is the last venue on their 19 stop Sounds Good To Me US/UK tour. They last played at the Cathedral in 2017 where they wowed the audience with their combination of blue grass, country and folk/pop-rock.  Don’t miss this chance to see this world class act who have been described by American folk singer Arlo Guthrie as ‘way too young to be playing that good.’

The Abrams will be supported by local singer-songwriters Jonica Love and Rachel Lowrie.

Tickets available online or from the Rochester Cathedral shop. Tickets will be available on the door.
