Explore and Draw - The Leaves of the Trees

'The Leaves of the Trees' is a moving installation created by Peter Walker as a reflective memorial, honouring the people who have lost their lives to the pandemic. It comprises of 5000 steel sycamore leaves to symbolise both the past and hope for a better future.

Join artist Luna Zsigo and poet Clair Meyrick at Rochester Cathedral ‘s Ithamar Chapel for a thought-provoking art and creative writing workshop.

Clair Meyrick is well known on the Medway poetry scene, she is a mother, poet, performer and artist, and reads her work in numerous venues in and around London. She also has a regular slot on the radio and is published in Confluence Magazine, Thanet Poetry Journal and online publications.

This is a relaxed and welcoming event, there will be no pressure to read what you have written and if you want to do art thats fine too!

All abilities welcome. A selection of materials will be provided but please feel free to bring you own. (Watercolours and pencil only)
