I, Paula Bonhoeffer tells the story of the Bonhoeffer family, of Werner, who joins the the German army, Dietrich, who tries to find a way of resistance he can align with his conscience, Klaus, who arranges contacts with the Allies to forge bonds beyond war, Hans, who prepares assassination attempts against Hitler, and Rüdiger, who tries to write laws for a just war.
