The Cathedral Voluntary Choir

The Voluntary Choir consists of a pool of around 40 experienced adult singers who supplement the work of the Cathedral Choir by singing on various occasions throughout the year. These include feast days such as Ash Wednesday and All Souls, Weddings and Funerals, and regular weekend services throughout the year. Very occasionally, the Voluntary Choir also combines with the Cathedral Choir.

We’re looking for new members to join the Voluntary Choir. If you have good sight-reading skills and some experience of singing Anglican choral music, then please feel free to get in touch with Assistant Director of Music, Jeremy Lloyd to enquire about an audition.
