National Day of Reflection marked at Rochester Cathedral

Rochester Cathedral has marked the National Day of Reflection on March 23rd by reflecting on the past and looking forward to the future

Reflecting on the past year

Canon Chancellor Gordon Giles, reflected on a year like no other at the Cathedral in a retrospective video.

Ribbons for Remembrance

We also started our community project outside the Cathedral. We are encouraging people to tie a single ribbon to the railings outside the Cathedral. The ribbons are an act of remembrance and a sign of hope. The ribbons will be added to and remain in place for the next 50 days until May 23rd.

The Spire

As the Nation fell silent to remember in doorstep vigils at 8pm, we joined buildings across the country in turning yellow.
