Attendees at the recent Business Guild Breakfast enjoyed a delicious breakfast whilst listening to two innovative and engaging speakers, who both shared valuable insights into sustainability and innovation shaping the future of our industries.

Dr Anthony Greer, Founder & Executive Director for Corporate Strategy at TALO, explored how we can rethink traditional housebuilding approaches. He highlighted how new methods and smarter design can accelerate the delivery of highly energy‑efficient homes — helping make sustainable living more widely accessible.

We also heard from Michael O'lone, Director of Environment, Sustainability & Social Impact at Syntech Biofuel, who discussed the increasing role of biofuels as an alternative to fossil diesel. His examples from major infrastructure projects, including the Lower Thames Crossing, brought these ideas to life.

The event was warmly received, combining excellent food with vital health awareness and practical marketing insight.
