Garden Party at Commissioners House - Tuesday 23rd June 2026

On a glorious summer evening at Commissioners House in the Historic Dockyard, Chatham, we were delighted to welcome our guests for the Gundulf Society's annual garden event where we celebrated the House’s recent renovation.

Guests enjoyed a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, sipping chilled fizz and delicious canapes whilst they explored the beautifully restored interiors and grounds. As some of the very first visitors to experience Commissioners House following its transformation, attendees learnt about both its rich historic character and the exceptional care taken in its restoration.

The evening was further enhanced by a light-hearted performance from the Rochester Cathedral Choristers, whose voices filled the gardens and added a truly memorable dimension to the occasion. Their music provided a perfect soundtrack as the sun set over this remarkable setting.
