Under the Whales: A Sea Shanty Evening

 Set sail on a musical voyage beneath Whales at Rochester Cathedral. Join celebrated shanty group The Silver Darlings for an evening of rousing sea songs.

The Silver Darlings will be performing at 19:00 and 20:15.

Can’t make it until the second performance? Tickets for arrival after 20:00 are £10. 

 This is a relaxed, standing concert. A limited number of seats will be available, with priority for those who need them. Audiences are encouraged to move around the space to experience the music and artwork from different perspectives.

 About The Silver Darlings 

An all-female sea shanty crew hailing from Southend-on-Sea in Essex. They sing shanties, songs of the sea and ditties nautical. They love the story-telling aspect to shanty-singing and are passionately committed to ensuring that these songs remain in the public domain and are not lost at sea!
