Whales after Dark

See Rochester Cathedral bathed in underwater light and dive beneath the waves to depths of the ocean.

For a handful of evenings this February and March, visitors will have the unmissable opportunity to see Tessa Campbell Fraser’s Whales after sunset.

A truly awe-inspiring experience which you won’t forget

Arrive at any time during the extended opening hours and feel free to explore at your own pace. Whether it’s a flying visit or an opportunity to take time to pause and reflect is completely up to you.

Last admission is 30 minutes before closing

The Crypt Lounge

Extend your evening with a visit to our Crypt Lounge. Situated in our serene Medieval Crypt and serving a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, it’s a perfect place to catch up with friends and family after viewing Whales.

Tickets

For Whales after Dark we’re offering ‘Pay What You Can Tickets” to allow more people to experience the artwork in the evenings.

Prices

 £6 | £8 | £10

There is no difference in the experience for the ticket prices. It’s completely your choice which ticket or combination of tickets you chose to purchase.  

All users over 3 years old need a ticket. Carers tickets are free but proof is essential and only one carer is permitted per paying customer.
