The Kent Speak Their Name Suicide Memorial Quilt is a powerful and heartfelt tribute to those lost to suicide, created by bereaved families across Kent. Each square, stitched, painted, or embroidered with love, honours a life ended too soon. Together, these squares form a powerful tapestry of remembrance, ensuring that every name is spoken and every story is seen.
Taking Flight is a celebration of Medway’s aviation history inspired by the Short Brothers and Short Scion Floatplane. A series of group artworks created by groups across Chatham, Gravesend, Canterbury, Bromley and Tunbridge Wells.

Luke Jerram’s spectacular Gaia is now on display at Rochester Cathedral
Ribbons of Remembrance is an artwork by local artists. It has been made from ribbons tied to our railings in 2021 to mark the first anniversary of lockdown as a sign of love and affection for those who had died because of Covid 19.
Rochester Cathedral’s floors will be carpeted with 5000 metal leaves as part of a reflective memorial to the coronavirus pandemic. The Leaves of the Trees is by artist Peter Walker and will be on display in the Quire from the 24th April - 22nd May.

Created by local artist Amber Rose. The Kent Corona Quilt contains the names of 88 people lost to Covid-19 in Kent. It is dedicated to our loved ones lost to COVID-19 and created to offer comfort and support to those left to grieve in isolation during lockdowns.
We invite you to mark one year since lockdown by tying ribbons to our railings to commemorate and bring hope
