A message from Dean Philip following the announcement of the new Archbishop of Canterbury

We welcome the announcement this morning of Dame Sarah Mullally, the Bishop of London, as the next Archbishop of Canterbury. 

This is good news for the Church and as Canterbury’s sister Cathedral we look forward to working and supporting the Archbishop in whatever ways we can.  Certainly, she will be in our prayers as she takes up this significant role and helps to restore credibility and confidence in the Church.
