/Attendees at today’s Business Guild Breakfast enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by our wonderful Café staff, generously sponsored by the Organ Donation Fund. The morning brought together excellent food with two insightful and thought‑provoking presentations.
Dr Paul Hayden, Consultant in Critical Care and Clinical Lead in Organ Donation at Medway NHS Foundation Trust, and Dr Gill Fargher, Chair of the Organ and Tissue Donation Committee at Medway NHS Foundation Trust and Regional Organ Donation Chair for the Southeast (NHS Blood and Transplant), delivered a powerful and informative talk on organ and tissue donation. They explained what donation involves, why it is so vital, and addressed questions surrounding the recent law change. Gill also shared the moving story of her late husband, Tris, who was an organ and tissue donor, offering a deeply personal perspective.
Guests also enjoyed an engaging presentation from Kulbinder Dio, Founder & CEO of bionicGPT, who explored how artificial intelligence is transforming business operations across industries. He highlighted practical AI applications that can help businesses of all sizes increase productivity and efficiency.
The event proved to be a memorable blend of great food, expert knowledge, and meaningful discussion.
