/Attendees at today’s enjoyed a delicious breakfast, kindly sponsored by Vivum Music Ltd, before hearing two insightful presentations.
Martyn Reeves reflected on the past 40 years of the Wisdom Hospice, sharing key moments from its history and the impact it has had on the community. He also offered his thoughts on the future of hospice care across Medway and Swale, highlighting both the challenges ahead and the opportunities for continued compassionate support.
Representatives from MVA then spoke about the organisation’s vital role in supporting Medway’s vibrant Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise and Faith sector. They explained how MVA helps local groups provide innovative, safe and sustainable services for their communities, offering guidance on everything from starting new initiatives and developing good governance to recruiting and retaining volunteers.
The morning was warmly received, offering attendees an engaging combination of excellent food, inspiring reflections and practical insight into the work taking place across Medway.
