Visit to Avenue Tennis - Tuesday 15th April 2025

In April, 35 guests enjoyed an exclusive visit to Avenue Tennis, a world‑class tennis and leisure facility kindly hosted by owner and Business Guild member Colin Jarvis. Founded in 2018, the club reflects Colin’s lifelong passion for the sport and his commitment to nurturing young talent through its thriving Junior Tennis Academy.

Guests were given guided tours by Head Coach Alex Wilmington and Colin himself, offering a behind‑the‑scenes look at the club’s exceptional facilities. With 17 state‑of‑the‑art indoor and outdoor courts, a premium gym, wellness suite, fitness studios, personal training and an excellent restaurant and bar, Avenue Tennis offers a full lifestyle experience.

The highlight of the visit was an exhibition match featuring talented young players showcasing the rising stars of the county’s tennis community. Guests then enjoyed refreshments in the restaurant overlooking the courts. The event offered a rich combination of hospitality, insight into elite sport and an inspiring glimpse of the UK’s future tennis prospects.
