Charity Golf Day - Thursday 18th September 2025

Mid‑September saw the return of the ever‑popular annual Golf Day at Rochester & Cobham Golf Club, attracting 20 teams to compete under perfect weather conditions. The event raised more than £6,000 through entry fees, a raffle and the sale of mulligans, contributing significantly to the Cathedral’s work.

Trustees hosted refreshments at the Halfway Hut, offering delicious homemade treats kindly provided by Marilyn and Gina, with drinks generously sponsored by Copper Rivet. Following the competition, guests enjoyed a superb two‑course lunch in the clubhouse, where prizes were awarded for the winning team, Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive.

The atmosphere throughout the day was warm and lively, with players and supporters relishing both the sporting challenge and the opportunity to network with fellow supporters. The event was a tremendous success, combining friendly competition with community spirit and valuable fundraising.
