Kat Pegler

Kat Pegler is an interdisciplinary artist, composer and creative director working across sound, visual art, spatial installation and research-led projects.

Her work combines music, storytelling and cultural research to shift how people notice and relate to place, ecology and one another. Informed by neurodivergent ways of thinking, she explores alternative patterns of attention, perception and narrative, often creating participatory experiences that invite audiences to slow down, listen differently or enter unfamiliar relationships with their surroundings.

Pegler works across composition, installation, producing, creative direction and research, collaborating with artists, institutions and organisations on commissions, performances and strategic projects. She is co-founder of Kerbside Collective, LEO Reader and Medway Collective, and has worked with organisations including Tate Modern, Historic England, the BBC and Arts Council England. She holds an MA with Distinction from Goldsmiths, where she received the Warden's Climate Award.

Her recent practice includes sound, ecology and public-space projects rooted in the Medway landscape. For Art on the Delta, Pegler contributes to the exhibition's interest in sanctuary, environmental awareness and reflective encounter, using soft, spatial and sensory approaches to make room for rest and renewed attention.
