We are seeking a part time temporary cleaner to work in the Cathedral, ensuring the building's cleanliness and safety for visitors and staff. You will carry out routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as specialized cleaning of high-level areas.
The cleaning team works within the verger team to provide efficient cleaning support to both the Cathedral, and other ancillary areas.
All Cathedral employees are expected to work as a team to ensure the Cathedral fulfils its mission.
This is a fixed term temporary role for 6 months, but may be subject to extension.
Hours of work
The role is part time, 6 hours per week to be worked on a rota. Weekend work will be required and occasionally some evenings.
Salary
The salary is £13.45 per hour (£4,196.40 per annum) for 6 hours per week
